Alessandra Vasile

I completed my training in Italy, the United States and the Netherlands and, during my professional life, I followed parallel, synergistic paths, maintaining a strong interdisciplinary character across different fronts: teaching, research, publishing and architecture (mainly dealing with building renovations).
In the early nineties I started my collaboration with the Milan Politecnico and Istituto Europeo di Design where I gave courses of History of Design and Architecture, Interior Designing and Design Methodology and coordinated specialization courses in the Advanced study program. I was a consultant and researcher for POLI.Design, the Politecnico’s consortium for applied research and continuous training and for the Politecnico’s special in –house lab MAST (Merceologia e Analisi Settoriale e Territoriale).
The progress reports from the research carried out for MAST have been published as an observation of the construction sector in the technical specialized magazines edited by BE-MA ““La Rivendita: il nuovo commercio dei prodotti e delle attrezzature per l’edilizia” and “Specializzata: mensile delle tecniche di applicazione e costruzione”. Among my publications: “​New Offices” in Italy”​ and “​New Exhibits 3″​ both edited by Edizioni L’Archivolto.
Thanks to my diversified experience across various spheres, I had the opportunity to mature my competencies related to a research and analysis method applicable to different contents by following the needs arisen in the professional environment, and to develop synthesis and review skills, also finalized the elaborations of written reports. Since 2013, I am collaborating with SCL dealing with communication, forensic engineering and services concerning the architecture’s and engineering’s fields.
