Giovanni Moretti

My collaboration with SCL – Structural Engineering began in June 2025, where I provide consulting services in the firm’s civil engineering division, with a particular focus on the design and verification of reinforced concrete buildings. At the same time, I am a PhD candidate in Civil Engineering at the Department of Engineering of Roma Tre University, where I have been conducting research since November 2021.
I obtained my Master’s degree in Civil Engineering in July 2021, with a thesis titled “Integrated Design of Interventions for the Safety and Seismic Improvement of Masonry Buildings.”
My research focuses on studying the mechanical behavior and durability of FRCM, SRG, and SRP strengthening systems applied to masonry structures, as well as on the development of an integrated composite material strengthening and monitoring system using FBG optical fibers.
