Kiriaky Iordanidou

I graduated in civil engineering, in 2011 at the Politecnico of Thessaly in Greece. During the last years of the university studies I carried out research activities in collaboration with the laboratory of structural analysis of the university and I published different research papers (as second name) in international engineering journals. In 2011 I moved to Italy, after winning a scholarship, for the participation in the international master of second level in “Design of Steel Structures” , at the university of Naples Federico II.
I started my professional activity in SCL in year 2013, few months after completing the Master and from 2014 I am member of the Milan Order of Engineering.
In SCL I’m mostly involved in the design of steel structures, in particular, storage racks and self-standing warehouses and I deal with all the design phases, from the structural calculations to the check of the correct installation on site and the execution of laboratory and or site tests, when necessary.
Part of my activity also includes the study of static and seismic behavior of existing structures, mainly made of steel, and the design of structural reinforcement.
