AIM OF THE PROJECT :
After the renovation and complete redesign of part the Hospital of “Niguarda Ca’ Granda”, originally from the thirties, a detailed analysis of the structures and building not renewed has been carried out thanks to the documentation preserved in the hospital’s archives. The goal of the research has been a classification of the existing showing, for each building, size, shape, status, construction technology, possible deficiency and eventual and documented further local intervention not related to the original date of construction.
BY SCL :
SCL has been in charge of the approval of the structural work related to the renewal project of the hospital and, in this second phase of the work, was responsible of the general overall technical checking for the static and seismic safety of all the buildings part of the hospital complex classified as STRATEGIC.
