AIM OF THE PROJECT :
New Boutique Balmain located in via Montenapoleone in Milan in the basement floors (warehouses) ground and first of an historical building.
BY SCL :
Executive design and DL of all structural works (c.a. and steel), pursuant to Law 1086.
Among the main structural intervention:
• monumental staircase covered in stone and mirrors with a semicircular development and a straight ramp
• demolition of existing wooden floors on the 1st floor and reconstruction with steel beams and overlying corrugated sheet and joint jet. Creation of cantilevered slab portion as a “balcony” on the a monumental staircase.
• creation of “column-channel” having the double function of supporting the cantilever portion of the 1st floor and of a pipeline for the passage of the air conditioning.
• reinforcement of the wall alignments parallel to Montenapoleone street with new steel structures and integration with reinforced concrete.
