AIM OF THE PROJECT :
Requalification of the existing building of four floors above ground and one underground including a four floors elevation of it. Renovation of the three existing buildings of the complex that have been partially demolished and reconstructed.
BY SCL :
Executive Design of all the structural works.
Special focus on eco-savings and environmentally friendly features pursuing a cooperative design between structure, architecture and installations.
Detailed study and general investigations concerning floor structures, elevation and foundations in order to built the four additional floors. The pile foundation construction system not only prevented significant strengthening to the existing vertical structures but also eased the realization of external walkways for both the existing and new floors. Furthermore, thanks to new bulkheads, all over the perimeter, it has been possible to expand the underground floor for garage use
