AIM OF THE PROJECT :
In an historic masonry building in the city center of Milan, expansion and renovation -from ground to second floor- of the men and women Valentino apparel store. The previous renovation, dated 2001-2002, referred to the architectural concept of Antonio Citterio and Partners.

BY SCL :
Executive Design and Works Management of all structural works (r.c., steel and masonry).
Most notable structural works include:
• reinforcement on existing wood and concret- masonry slab due to a change of use;
• realisation of the new main steel staircase from ground to the first floor and development of construction details;
• realisation of a new service steel staircase from basement up to the first floor;
• realisation of steel portals following the demolition of some bearing walls in order to create new openings.
