AIM OF THE PROJECT :
Renovation of the New York City Valentino flagship store.To be mentioned the realisation of a new monumental staircase at the entrance and the huge clock (1.2 m diameter) mounted on the facade.

Executive structural design and assistance to the Works Management.
The most notable engineering techniques adopted in this project were meant to find worthy solutions for:
• the double cantilever walkway on 6.0 m and 3.5 m spans featured for the monumental staircase;
• mobility of single steel elements pre-assembled in Italy;
• structural criticalities due to the reduced thickness of available supports for load-bearing elements.
The huge clock’s steel structure and its junction to the outside facade have been inspected through a stress analysis-
